In 2021, St. Augustine of Canterbury School underwent an energy efficiency upgrade thanks to the help of Donnelly Energy and PSE&G’s Direct Install Program.
It started with a free on-site energy audit for the non-profit school, where we offered cost-effective recommendations to upgrade their lighting and HVAC that would fit their budget, and details on PSE&G’s 0% APR on-bill repayment program. Once St. Augustine’s decided to proceed with the project, Donnelly was responsible for completing installations on behalf of PSE&G.
St. Augustine of Canterbury School received over $166,000 in incentives and was expected to save $24,000+ annually in utility bills! Our energy efficiency project was also estimated to
eliminate 250 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions.

PSE&G’s Direct Install program offers up to 80% off energy efficiency upgrades in the lighting, heating, and cooling categories for businesses throughout New Jersey.
As a contractor for PSE&G’s Direct Install, Donnelly was able to secure upfront incentives to help lower the cost of the upgrade. Paired with the program’s 0% APR financing, St. Augustine’s was able to upgrade with no money out-of-pocket.
