Donnelly Energy, a division of Donnelly Construction, has been a valued energy efficiency partner with McDonald’s Somerville since completing its first Direct Install project back in 2017.
After years of successfully working with Donnelly Energy, McDonald’s Somerville hired Donnelly Construction to complete a front counter remodel in 2023.
Our partnership with McDonald’s Somerville started with a retrofit to high-efficiency LED lighting under Direct Install from New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program™. At the time, we secured over $9,800 in upfront incentives for the franchise.
In 2021, we completed a second energy efficiency project, which focused on upgrading 3 rooftop HVAC units under the newly transitioned Direct Install program by PSE&G. Over $40,000 in upfront incentives were provided to help cover the cost.
McDonald’s Somerville chose Donnelly Construction as their front counter remodel contractor for service area optimization in 2023. Work was completed in a few days, with drive-thru service still available at the fast food restaurant.
